   You guy sure know how to kill some damn nice fish.. I also bowfish its a blast… For the one that says its illegal in wv i think you need to do more research before you say things like that because your wrong….

   I agree Owen. If they were just bowfishing carp it’d be acceptable, as they are an introduced nuisance species, and in my opinion, the less of them, the better. They actually outcompete and harm endemic species. But I also observed them shooting a gar with a bow, which is a native species. This is completely senseless….. I know they are hicks, but even most hicks wouldn’t eat a gar. Thus, they are killing for mere entertainment. BOW fishing is also illegal in WV!!!! I fish this same river!
