]]> mine, i’ve caught 3 anchor, a flashlight and ball of lures (9countdown and 3 shad raps), my girlfriend caught 2 anchors one had line with a sheephead on the end of it, seen my friend catch a couple anchor, a $200 muskie net, and one time funniest thing i’ve ever seen, he was jigging for walleyes, he’s swears he had a bite hooked a fish ,it was something big, got it in and it was a big nasty dead carp. looked like it had been dead for months stunk so bad we had to leave. funniest part about was, it was hooked in the mouth.. i must of stunk up a square mile it was so bad.
man i need to start reading what i write. it must of not i, but i have been known stink up good area
seen no eyed sheephead, smallmouth with a jighead hanging out of his butt(i took it out for him, if anyone was wondering, it looked pretty red and sore) seen a couple fish caught in the butt, that pretty funny if you think about

]]> i went fishing today and as soon as i got to the water, there were carp splashing around the shoreline making alot of noise and kicking up alot of mud. the whole day out there, i only got a small largemouth bass. im fishing off the shore so i cant get out to the middle of the lake, but is this maybe why i wasnt doing so good? Ive used everything from fake baits, lures, jigs,nightcrawlers and minnows.do the carp scare the other fish or what? thanks

Driving near Reems Creek in Weaverville North Carolina, about 15 minutes North of Asheville, and saw this BMW rolling pretty fast. 20 seconds later, near Hawks Landing, I drove up on the accident. He wiped out on that corner and was in the woods. Called 911, ran out to help and stop traffic, then grabbed the flip camera after the Reems Creek Fire Department reemscreekfd.com arrived. Mission Hospital’s MAMA helicopter ambulance headed to the scene, I think they landed next to the Carp fishing lakes on that big field about 6 miles down Reems Creek to pick up the victim. Seeing everyone (Firefighters, EMS, Police, Civilians, Nurses, Doctors) coming from everywhere to help was inspiring and amazing. It gave me so much faith in this little community North of Asheville. Sent some updates to Twitter also http Thank you everyone! for pitching in on this rescue on Reems Creek.
