My dad catches this grass carp that is at least 30 pounds! We thought it was a tarpon at first. I was so excited because I have never seen a tarpon before but still this carp was huge. And I was sick so my voice sounded funny.

]]> Yesterday my goldfish died, it had had a swim bladder disorder for weeks, I did a 80% water change then introduced an albino grass carp to the tank, and immediately it sank to the bottom lied on it’s right side. It seems to be able to swing its body ( but it hasn’t) and it is breathing. What could have possibly struck it down so soon?
The water is about 20′C, I’ve moved it to a small 1g tank with about 5 E. densa, bright gravel and 3 trumpet snails.
The water hasn’t been de-chlorinated.
It was left for 15 mins in the bag in the water then 15 mins with some water mixed then put in
It died, I will completely clean the tank out and start again at a later date.
